The AUG is a clever combination of a sniper's accuracy, while maintaining good recoil control, which in turn, is a favouite for many players. The other con is the fairly slow reload time, so seeking a good spot to hide and reload is recommended. Players may choose cheaper weapons like the AK-47 or the M4.
If engaged with an enemy sniper equipped with weapons like the AWP Sniper, the latter has a better chance of killing the player due to the higher damage. However in Critical Strike Portable, it only deals mediocre damage. The AUG has great recoil control in Critical Strike Portable and Critical Ops, so it can be used to spray-fire while maintaining its accuracy. With its fast fire rate, including its excellent accuracy, the AUG is great for killing enemies at any distance and is especially useful for taking out enemies that can be too far to accurately hit with other assault rifles. The AUG is a medium damage assault rifle.
